Mount Roar!

Our student app, Mount Roar!, was a mobile development project made by students, for students. It acts as a closed social network exclusively for Mount students.
Want to know what is happening on campus?
All student events are now in one place.
Trying to get in touch with a classmate for a group project?
No need to awkwardly reach out on facebook, students can easily find their classmates and reach out on the app.
Building connections on campus has been made easier than ever.

AllTogether Network

Here at the Mount, we believe in serving others and contributing to the greater good. At cITe, our students strive to come up with unique and diverse ways to use technology to help others. Our student app was modified to help a major research hospital build virtual patient support networks.

Cicada Safari

The Cicada Safari mobile application is a Citizen Scientist Project aimed at mapping the emergence of Periodical Cicadas. This project was led by Dr. Gene Kritsky and was developed as a tool to collect crowd sourced visual GPS tagged data to enhance the scientific community’s understanding of periodical cicada emergence patterns.

Classroom Engagement Project

Students want to experience different cultures, but they often have other obligations outside of their studies, so travelling abroad is not always an option. By bringing diverse cultures into the classroom room students may benefit from new perspectives and experience transformed cultural and language learning opportunities. Remote learning can afford more flexible opportunities and experiences that are less costly but still impactful.
